All for the love of theatre.
That is how it started for me. When I was 14 I was cast in my first musical. The show was “Evita”. The music was beautiful. The clothes were incredible. I was hooked.
From that day on, when most teenagers were scouring malls, I was begging to go to the antique and thrift stores.
For the past 17 years I have been collecting vintage pieces for my own private collection. Although my true loves can be found in the styles of the 40’s and 50’s, I have an eclectic affinity for all things old.
Here at AlleyKat’s we are dedicated to bringing quality, authentic pieces to those who love vintage as much as we do! There is nothing quite like wearing or using something that no one else has. Vintage pieces are unique, often one of a kind items. It is a tremendous feeling to have something that comes with an instant past, a story. Perhaps that dress was once worn by Jackie O., or an upcoming hollywood starlet. Now, it could be yours!

All items are lovingly stored, packaged and shipped from a smoke free environment. I cannot atest to the environment from which an item has been purchased. I will always include odors or visible damages in an items description. Should there be any allergy issues, please email me directly to inquire about a piece. As with most vintage pieces odors may become more noticeable after shipment. Once your package has arrived, open the box and place a few newspapers inside. The newspapers will help to absorb the odors. Replace the newspaper frequently.
Something to remember-
Vintage sizes run small. Never base the size off the number on the tag. For instance, a tag that has the number 8 on it, may actually be a size 4 by todays standards. I will always include measurements in the description of the item. Larger sizes are hard to come by. I try to keep an assortment of sizes available. If there is something in particular you are looking for, let me know. I may have it!
